I apologise for the late comment, but here we go.
I think you've captured the atmosphere and mood exceptionally well here. With the fog in effect, and the way things are quite greyscale and dark, it really just makes it all the more effective overall.. and quite powerful at that.
The composition is good, though I feel that you could have moved the camera more to the left so that the main subject matter, or the focus in the foreground, are properly centred. Maybe you could have shot it closer as well.
Still, it's awesome how the trees vary in terms of solidity and all. Perhaps you could increase the contrast and brightness a bit, but I think it's pretty fine as it is.
